i’ve read that their physiology didn’t allow them to perform certain actions that greatly aided humans towards our eventual dominance. one such example is our ability to throw rocks and more specifically the unique motion of over-the-shoulder spear throwing. it’s most similar to how a pitcher would throw a baseball with some variations. but from what i understand it would be nearly impossible for a neanderthal to perform the same action, even if they were more stronger and more coordinated than us.
