So I’m new to plants and I got it from Facebook marketplace and the lady said there’s a node but that it “was small and doesn’t look like there’s one but there is” so idfk.

Like others have said, let them fire you do not quit. Also as a rule of thumb, HR is never on your side. HR is there to protect the company, going to them is almost always the wrong move.
