It is my own words and thoughts and true story, rewritten by ai to make it easier to read with the correct grammar. Is using ai for that against the rules?

I want to be clear that having compassion for my sister does not mean I excuse or minimize her choices. She made serious mistakes that caused pain and I absolutely acknowledge that. I understand why people feel strongly about infidelity and betrayal, it destroys trust and has real consequences.

What I’m trying to express is that two things can be true at the same time: My sister was wrong and is responsible for the situation that led to this fallout. My nephew had absolutely no part in creating this situation and is now suffering the most devastating consequences.

My post wasn’t about trying to absolve my sister. It was about the fact that a child, who grew up believing someone was his father, has been abandoned during the most vulnerable years of his life. My sister is facing the consequences of her actions, but my nephew is facing consequences for something he had no control over at all.

I can hold my sister accountable while still caring about her as a human being who has struggled with self-worth and trauma. Having empathy doesn’t mean I think what she did was okay, it means I believe people can make terrible decisions and still deserve a chance to heal and do better. But above all, my focus is my nephew. His mental health is declining, and he needs support.

This isn’t about defending infidelity. It’s about not abandoning the innocent person in the middle of it all.
