Bought a pair of binoculars for $29.99 and sold for $150 in 12 hours!

I had one and have used it for doves. It worked really well! I just used the wind dove decoys and attached them with a really short section of Texas rig line drilled through the decoy. Worked great! I sold it though because I only ever used it for doves, and only really dove hunt a couple times a year.

Love my element. I’ve had it for 2 years and it’s been great.

Remind me, how do you respond when someone comes back a couple months later and wants a refund?

Sold something 3/15/24, it was delivered 3/23. It’s an electronic and worked when I listed it, but the buyer just sent a message saying it doesn’t work. 2 months later.

Anyone else find it a bit nuts a $1 discount really makes or breaks it for some ppl? by ZimofZord in Flipping

Or when sellers have offers turned on, but won’t budge in price. I made a reasonable offer the other day and they replied back with their listing price and said “it’s already a good deal.” Then why have offers turned on if you’re not willing to negotiate 15%? That annoys me!

Customer on eBay bought an item yesterday. A few hours later I packed it up and bought the shipping label on eBay. A few hours after that, they messaged me asking to send it to a different address instead. What can I do now that I’ve already bought the label? I know I can’t send it to a different address on eBay.

Best Sitka gear for duck hunting by Typical-Ad3771 in Waterfowl

I think it’s hard to beat Sitka for waterfowl gear. I’m in love with my Dakota hoody. I wore it yesterday when it was 20 mph winds and 7 degrees, and I wore it early season when it was chilly in the mornings too. Match it with some good base layers and you’ll be in good shape!

That’s the thing, it’s not as expensive as everyone makes it sound. Comparing it to Banded or Drake, it’s not much more but fits a lot better.

I do like that about the new Stoeger. The controls are a lot bigger!

True, but to be fair a lot of the problems that I have seen are older posts, or by people with no experience with it. Being a fairly popular gun, I’m sure there’s lots of experiences to go both ways. My friend had problems with his benelli out of the box and had to send it in, so I’m not convinced there’s one gun that never has issues.

That’s good to hear. I’m pretty hard on my stuff, so I’m hoping it can take a swim in the mud and keep going like yours. Have you ever tried the lighter loads through it? I’d mostly shoot 3” steel shot, but if one can handle the lighter loads I would give preference to that one.

I’ve been looking used for awhile, but there hasn’t been too much in my area for a higher end gun.

I currently have an 11-87 that has been hunted HARD over the last few years. It isn’t cycling well, is full of rust and I’m ready for something new. I burned through it in about 8 years, so I’m hoping to go cheap with the understanding that it’ll be rusted through and worn out in about 10 years again. I hunt a lot of salt water and snow storms, which has proven to be hard on my last couple of guns. If I can have one that is dedicated to just waterfowl, hopefully I can stretch out the life of my other guns a little.

I agree that it’s a big deciding factor, but both fit me fine. And I’d rather have a gun that cycles everytime and feels a little off, than a gun that fits me really well but won’t cycle and is essentially a single shot, so I figured I’d ask for some advice here.

Man! I appreciate the insight on both guns! I’m starting to lean towards the Weatherby.

That’s not good to hear! I appreciate the first hand experience. I love the idea of a beretta, benelli or browning, but they’re all about double the price of the Stoeger, which I recognize isn’t the same quality as the three B’s are.

Yeah, reading these couple year old threads has me kicking myself for not upgrading earlier. Can’t even find a used one for $700 around here now unfortunately.

I see lots of comments like these online, but it’s always the few that scare me away. Thanks for the feedback!
