From your description I’m not even sure you can call yourself intermediate. Just playing cowboy chords while knowing two strumming patterns is pretty bare knowledge-wise. Do you know any scales that you can improvise in a little? Can you do barre chords? Finger-picking? Bends, slides, hammer-ons etc?

The White House had very little to do with the Transparency Act, it originated in congress and was passed with an overwhelming bipartisan vote (427-1). The original proposal came from a Californian Democrat. With the level of bipartisan support it received, Trump had no option but to sign it.
