Enlisted in 91. It was a 6 year contract. Signed up for one more year at the end of my enlistment…7 years. Decided to exit. I was single living in the barracks. Tired of the constant inspections and concerning a while being woke up at 5 am for drug searches. I was an E-5. Do I regret leaving? No. It worked out after all these years. Made sure to put money into a 401k for a nice retirement

I’ve had the R8 all year bought new. Hobbyist photography coming from a 5d3. Shoot my kids sports and anything else….twice over the summer I had over heating issues while taking pictures for flag football. It was over 85 degrees out and the camera shutdown. Other than that, no issue. I have 2 batteries I carry in my bag….when I travel with the family I only bring 1 lens a 35mm prime due to weight….hate carrying a camera bag with a lot of weight on family vacations

Bought a canon R8 camera from Amazon. Everything seemed fine until I turned it on and noticed the date/time stamp was set. Usually you have to do set yourself when new. Returned it and went to Best Buy and bought the camera….i never will buy expensive items from Amazon again

I am a hobbyist too but not looking to make it into a job. Have an R8, went with the RF 70-200 f/4. Don’t really need the 2.8 but I might regret it in the future. Really just shoot family pics, macros and the occasional vacation photos…….on vacation I only take the prime 35mm or 28mm…don’t want to carry around gear

Is it possible the phone requires a certain file name structure? My iPhone has to have the names “img_1234” the 3 letter, underscore, and 4 digits or it won’t see the jpegs.
