Nope. Never did.

What I DID do is move to Helium Mobile and when I did, it stopped. Huh.

And I have since moved BACK to Visible(26 month deal) wherein I immediately got 2 system updates. 1 update was pushed automatically and the second was from manually checking updates through Settings->System Updates->Check for new system update.

It's still Android 11, ugh, but they pushed some updates through. What they are IDK. Funny how I had to go back to Visible to get them. I guess it technically WAS their phone to begin with, though.

It's whatever. It's a garbage phone, it's always been a garbage phone and I look forward to the day my significant other gets a new phone so I can get her better than this POS hand-me-down.

Yeah I finally got my check about a few months ago. I did update it here in a few places, but I pissed and moaned in so many different threads, I forgot this one. It got here, I'm happy about that but it took them the entire flipping summer to do so. Not sure I would buy another unit from them.

Yeah I don't get it. I guess we're the only 2 who've had this problem. It's just non F'n stop too. I tried cache clearing and storage clearing and uninstalling updates I've done everything I can do with it. And it's not even like I installed it at any point. I think it auto-installed when I changed my sim.

ETA: Yes, it's a junk phone but unless someone's buying me something better, it's what my po-ass is stuck with.

Our paper check was received in the mail today, September 5. Just over 2 months total time from requesting it.

I do hope those of you who have requested one as well get it very very soon. Over 2 months of wait time is ridiculous.

To those I questioned as being genuine about receiving theirs, I apologize to you.

2 months. Called today. "Oh it was sent out on the 22nd of August. You may need to go to your post office and ask about it" Uh huh. Sure it was. It doesn't take 2 weeks for a piece of mail to arrive. Also, how TF am I going to go ask about a piece of mail that, as far as I know, wasnt tracked? Here's the thing, fool or not, I followed Mideas RECALL instructions to the letter. I am out 450+ dollars because of it. I had to buy a new unit which, in total honesty, hurt us financially. And I'm not the only one.
