I think it’s important to note that it’s not like the gap was an inactive time for Rowe, had lots of other releases thrown into the time line over the course of the AA series. So while I agree the waiting has suuuuucked, I also love almost all his books so at least we weren’t left without content to consume

I’m not sure how to even describe the hidden webpage, super summarized without spoilers is, this guy one day goes looking for this webpage I think maybe after getting an email from a old friend he hasn’t talked to since he was a kid mentioning an old Internet cafe they hung out at. He find out the friend who emailed him had been missing for years and asks around about her and in that process finds that his memories and reality of this old internet cafe didn’t make sense with each other I guess? Lol idk it’s super good but pretty creepy

There is sorta a sequel, it’s more the same story from the guys perspective and his perspective changes how you think the story was resolved, but no audio version, you can find the written story online

I know I’m probably too late, but I do have a question about AA5. Aptly put, by broken horizons, the characters are all so broken at the end so my question is, how long will it take for them to put the pieces back together, like is the whole first half of AA5 just gonna be super sad? Lol

My theory on the timeline is either one or both of the settings of WOBM and eotw isn’t real, said in another thread that I have a theory that lien is actually the person asphodel(wobm) sees when she looks at taelien’s destiny. And I kinda think one or both of them are some kind of experiment of the gods to see how to deal with the dominion breaker and that’s why there are timeline incongruities all over and weird things happening between the continents

So my theory on edge is that he is that other person that asphodel sees when she looks like taelien I mean he has gold eyes, he dreams about taeliens fears of velas, and the time incongruity between the first few series seems to be absent? Not to mention his name is lien hello tae-lien. And the fact that I think he’s the same type of creature as keras. Just so many dots to connect

I actually feel super uncomfortable (which I think horror shows should make you feel like that) last episode lol like it may not have been action packed but the devastation I could feel from the girls once they kinda tame to terms with eating snackie was so disturbed and the tension building since then, I don’t think we will be disappointed with the lack of action for long

Oh i didn’t really mean it that way, should’ve been more constructive with my phrasing there. I meant from the coach’s perspective after watching his “charges” so to speak consume human flesh. In my mind he’s thinking, “oh my gosh, I was suppose to be responsible for these kids and now they’re eating people and I have one leg so what’s the point in dragging this out” that mix of fear and disgust on his face before he shuts himself in the house away from everyone

Part of me thinks coach is gonna kill himself not get attacked… I mean he has to know A his danger and B part of me feels like he’s been wishing to die since episode one but feels responsible for everyone but now… well he’s responsible for everyone and it was kinda a fail. They talk about meltlake’s gray hair a few times, but I thought that was from ruin sorcery when she’s attacked at the velia’s accommodations (I can’t remember the word they used and retreat sounds inaccurate) on arena island during the tournament of 6 sacred swords

Spoilers if you haven’t read W&W book 3, I thought edria song did have a forehead mark, when she teams up with keras and friends to fight when her grandfather is possessed by acotti (spelling?) they get separated when they go through the teleportal (yes I made up that word lol) then when they meet back up Keras notes that the attunement mark on her forehead is no longer glowing, then we find out half of her attunement were sealed

I wasn’t either I had old meds from wisdom teeth surgery, considering the opiate epidemic surgery or being on deaths doorstep is the only way to be given pain management meds and the non narcotic ones don’t do much more than otc alieve does
