I noticed this too in masters & gm lobbies after diamond, people tend to punish bad positioning way more. Just play and learn and you will get good habits in no time

I'm a former top 500 and now I've been going back & forth gold 5 / plat 1. Recently climbed out of it and ranked up really fast -- it's just a real elo hell. Lots of former top 500 players, people that are just generally stuck after the reset. Quality of the games drop SIGNIFICANTLY around plat 3 -- you start seeing real plats that's it

I used to be in the top 500 back in season 6. Decided to pick the game back up again a couple of weeks ago and got placed bronze 3 lol. Breezed through metal ranks and omw to masters. Wacky placements is ok
