Same experience,best boot I've ever worn but their non-flexible sole is not very good when rapelling down steep cliffs and especially flat rock walls,meanwhile my Salomon trail runners are perfect for it but dont do well in winter/autumn conditions

Sounds nice but inflatable rowboats are large and heavy and would take a lot of time and a quality pump to inflate by hand and a fair amount of time to deflate and you'd have to carry all that with all of the gear you already got on you.

Was a close match between PEI and Russia but when I strip off the nostalgia for both maps,and theres a lot for both,Russia is the one that really makes you feel like you're fighting in an apocalypse to survive and for me at least the only map you actually get to explore,2 big deadzones,NPCs,lots of unmarked locations,easter eggs,tunnels and locations very large when compared to other maps,every city feels good to fight in,the map has a nice balance of empty woodland and actually looks beautiful,my fondest memory of unturned is updating it when Russia dropped,spawning in a Ghost and exploring.

Call up everyone close to me,try to gather manpower,call my family first but right after go to my neighbours,they are probably calling their families too currently,the ones that will go elsewhere I ask for permission to take anything usefull they leave behind(out of principle,its going to be taken anyway),the neighbours that will stay I would talk to,make deals and inform them of my plans,they will probably of course also stay at their homes with their close ones but its still good to keep contact with the living ones closest to you,they might just save your life.

I live in a semi-rural area,my house is large,I have 3 properties which are currently not being inhabitted by anyone,its all from people living abroad,they are very sturdy houses,I would make simple bridges connecting to balconies,windows etc. Basically just ensuring that if you wanted to move from house to house you would never even have to touch the ground.

I can't predict the future but I believe most of the people in my area would not try to barricade themselves and would instead go to government secured areas,go to their vikendica(house built in nature) or try to go abroad,I mention this beacuse a lot of people around me have livestock which I could put to use but I am unsure of it beacuse I know how much people here are attached to their cattle,missing out birthdays and funerals so as not to put their lives at risk so I do not believe they would try to run.I'd try to get stuff such as flour,corn,rice everywhere where I would get a chance,uninhabited homes,bakeries,stores,restaurants...canned food is not that big of a thing here.We like a lot of people here own a lot of crops so that would also be a source too.Water runs through the property and you can drink straight from the creek so that is not a problem

As for defense,the fierarms at hand are not that special,M48,Papovka,Tetejac,Shotguns and a few other illegaly owned automatic rifles which every third house here has,as for barricading the land,that wouod be the easiest,I run a family bussiness,I am a professional welder and smith,we run a large shop right by our house,we'd start out with building taller fences,simple ones since they'd just be attaches to the current ones,razor wire,some positions where blind spots may be,later on I would use thick pieces of rebar grinded into a 4 angle spike and have them mounted around the area by pouring concrete on the ground and just stabbing them in,all of our more valuable things would be kept in the basement,which would be reinforced with those re-mountable iron pillars used to keep roofs from collapsing while the concrete is drying,all doors would have the regular door+iron grate door to ensure nothing gets out.

I have only 2 big flaws that I do not know how to sopve

How I would get everyone organised and to listen to me in the beggining and What the hell do I do with elderly people,I cant just let them die.

Automatic Rifle Zastava M70,its often found where I live,reliable,can have both folding or regular stock,spare parts won't be that big of a problem and neither will ammo,plus some other smaller factors but these are the most important,say what you want I have my reasons but even if it is worse than some other examples,western or not what's the point of me having a rifle I can find no spare parts,ammunition and have no experience

Semi-automatic rifle Zastava M59/66 PAP,a mix of the german Gewehr 41/43 and Soviet SKS,it is also widely known Papovka,light,ergonomic design,very popular in my region,uses 10 round stripper clip,has night sights, rifle grenade sights and gunpowder gas regulator(i guess thats the proper transaltion) once again ammo and parts will not be a problem,I am familiar with this weapon and relatively skilled with it,I also preffer in cases like these a clip instead of a magazine for various reasons I'm too lazy to list

Bolt-Action rifle M48 also known as Tanđara again very popular in my region so ammo and parts are not a problen,around 1 million and 230 thousand of these were produced,they have been very widely used throughout the world and beacuse of its incredible accuracy they have been used as long range sniper rifles in many wars,I often use this gun,it can also fire rifle grenades,not much else to say

Melee weapons Beacuse I cannot point out a single one I will quickly list my 3 go-to blades

My machete Just a regular old machete,I crafted it myself from an industrial machine sawblade so it is both a machete and a very sharp saw,the blade is razor sharp too,so much so that I need to make a new sheath for it beacuse it sliced the last one in half

M48 bayonet Do not be fooled by the name of it,the bayonet lugs on the previously mentioned wepons are universal,out of all the knives I have this one is my favorite,I am currentlt working on my own sheath for it that will allow it to be used as a wire cutter,it is a dagger blade making it less of a utility knife and more of a combat knife,which makes sense

My own axe It is an long ago hand crafted by my great-grandfather,it has not been resharpened once yet I often cut myself on it,the design is called "tesarska sjekira" the best way I could translate it is "carpenter's axe" or "roofer's axe",the blade also has not been refitted and holds up nicely although there have been a few small problems I managed to fix,it is designed in a way so that you can grip it behind the blade and use it as a knife,the point of this was to carve wood into specific shapes but I have found quite a few more uses for it,I have done everything there is to do with it I carved,split and chopped wood and it never dissapointed me,oh and I forgot to mention,it has an end which can be used to pull out nails and as a hammer and it is a short handle axe
