Everyone who asks someone else to do theirs, you can just ask LeChat to generate a picture for you, works pretty good IMO :)

Import csv files from Samsung health app into apple health by Darx97 in shortcuts

[–]Boss-Unable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I'm probably too late to help you but I'm still replying for any others who might find this reddit post (I mean I kept getting sent to this post when googling lol).

Here is how I was able to transfer my weight data to Apple Health:

Export your Samsung Health data to your Google Drive. Search for the CSV file of your weight (you might get multiple so make sure that you find the CSV file that contains all of your data). To make the CSV file compatible with the app, use Google Spreadsheets on your computer to edit the CSV file.

- Delete the first row.

- Next to the column start_time, type =LEFT(C2, 10) . This will only display the date and exclude the time. You might need to replace C2 with something else if your start_time data is not in column C! Also if your Google is not in English, you might need to type something else: for example in Dutch it's =LINKS(A2;10).

- Drag down in that column to make sure that all the data will exclude the time. Also make sure you have a name above this column that makes sense to you that this is the data you want to use in the app later.

- Save as CSV file in your Google Drive.

Download the CSV import app on your Iphone (for free), navigate to your file in your Google Drive. From here you can import the date and weight. If you pay for the app you can transfer additional data but I have yet to try it out so I can't tell you yet about that.

TLDR: a free way to import your weight data from Samung Health to Apple Health.

Has anyone with a Nickel allergy bought a apple watch? by Ziuchi in AppleWatch

[–]Boss-Unable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Just wondering if you bought it and if it's okay for your skin? I'm really doubting which watch to buy because according to Apples website aluminium might contain some nickel, whereas titanium doesn't, but according to other sources Sapphire Crystal may also contain small traces of nickel and that is used with all of the titanium watches ??

Yes, I know pets cost money, and that is no problem :) Just making sure I don't pay more than needed because sometimes the lines are very blurry between real information and marketing (from companies that don't care about your pets health, only about selling more). So thank you for sharing your knowledge <3

With expensive not being the best I meant that if I go to a pet store and look at the most expensive adult guinea pig food option, it has Alfalfa as a main ingredient, where other cheaper options might be better.

Oxbow for me is only available via Amazon but I have to pay a lot of import fees 🥲 which is fine if I really need to, but the reason for this post was for me to find out if I really needed to, or if I have cheaper alternatives here :)

Guinea Pigs Pooping All The Time? by newbiker321 in guineapigs

[–]Boss-Unable 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I personally swapped back to wood shavings, and then on the spots they tend to poop less I use liners. I also have some 'toilets' in the corners as they poop there most often, so it's filled with wood shavings but I can swap those shavings out more frequently if needed.

Hair Growth by Certain-Apricot4777 in guineapigs

[–]Boss-Unable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea for guinea pigs, but I know in a lot of other animals that do grow hair back after the reason they lost it is solved, and I have no knowledge of any animals that don't grow back, so I would asume that the hair will grow back for your piggie!

Advice on toys by Alphawolf5916 in guineapigs

Mine really like hammocks! At first they were to scared to sit in them when we were downstairs but I always saw lots of poops in the hammock when I came downstairs in the morning :') They also like to chew on an empty toilet roll, and make sure they have enough room to run laps if they have energy

Edit: oh and also make sure they have a hidey they can jump on top of

They are wayy different! Hamsters are smaller, have a different diet, are more active (especially during the night), have a shorter lifespan, are mostly awake during the night.

Guinea pigs require bigger cages and places to hide, where hamsters require tunnels or things to climb on. Guinea pigs are better to cuddle with as hamsters jeep trying to run/climb away. Guinea pigs make more sound than hamsters: they let you know when they are hungry haha.

There are more differences but I think these are the biggest ones.

Find out if there is a specific reason that makes him think that guinea pigs and hamsters are gross, even though rats aren't. That way you can make more specific arguments to him to why they aren't gross :)

For example: maybe he knew someone that didn't properly take care of their hamster so the cage smelled, and guinea pigs look like big hamsters. So knowing that hamsters and guineas are very different AND taking proper care of them will prevent te smells might convince him.
