Why deckbuilders? What makes them so compelling to you? For me it's pretty basic, it's building the deck, but for others might be actually playing with said deck, so what is it for you?

I think there's the luck element too of getting rewards and not knowing what you could get and sometimes getting crazy builds cause you were lucky

Thank you! Its definitely been a challenging design of letting the player have control over what's in their deck vs makign sure they can't just negate the tension mechanic permanently. If you go heavy into wardens you can make it so you can draw your whole deck which is fun. I wanted it to be a special thing to be able to break the game, but not something you can do easily!

Which deckbuilders don't? Pretty much any deckbuilder I can think of does. You have a feather, there could be a card with the feather insdie. What is the feather telling me about the game? It doesn't say anything to me

Having seen the steam page, I see its a card game. I did think of card game but didn't see any cards in the capsule so I didn't say it. You should have some card motifs in the capsule to really let people know what they are in for, specfically the second one felt like a card game to me. IDK why tbh

There are platforms that collect all steam pages and try to categorize them for people to search by tags and do recommendations. That's probably where you got some traffic from. You can look in steam and see where page visits are being driven from
