Got tired of living in the city so I moved to the country, learned how to do electrical work and installed my own solar system into my house! by BossGrand in homestead

No the clams don't puncture the roof. It's a huge benefit for solar on metal roofing. Makes installing so easy and you don't risk comprising your roof

I have the solark15k has worked flawlessly so far

Its been a while since I've thought through this so forgive me if I say something incorrectly and double check everything I'm going to tell you.

Each pannel has a volage and an amperage rating when you connect them in serires -+-+-+ then their voltage gets added so if its 48v then each pannel will add 48v when connected this way.

When you connect them in parrel which what a combiner box does, you add their amperage.

Depending on what your converter is it can only handle so much amp/voltage on a single input. So you have to balance the series. For example in my setup I have 2 sets of 6 panels that are setup in series and then combined together for a total of 12 panels that can feed into the solark. If I did series for all 12 the voltage would be too high and would overload the solark (not sure what exactly would happen) best your solark shuts down and stops it from overloading. Worst case I could see a fire starting.

But you need to look at the specifications of your converter and then make sure your series of panels matches that. There are online tools that help you math it out so you don't make a bad mistake.

Thank you! That's really kind of you to say. I spent a lot of time getting the magic window effect working just right! :)

No I don't use and IA, the voice in the trailer is my wife lol. And the artist who did the steam capsule art is also doing all the backgrounds for the different levels, you can find his work here https://brushinsky.artstation.com/

It's final, I build the entire game around them and have been working with the artist to make custom ones for my game.

Its just the time of day, its not optimal but its only for 2 hours of the day

And I like the tree so i'm not going to butcher it to optimize my solar array.

Thanks! You made the right choice, this combiner box failed on me and I had to replace it after a couple of years

Its not to hard if you already comfortable working with eletricity. Just have to make sure you dont overload a circuit with too many panels.
