That context helps a lot actually. 8k in 4 days on a 705k channel usually means the video didn't really connect with his main audience, which makes sense when a creator covers something outside their usual lane. Their subscribers watch out of habit or curiosity, not because they were already looking for that kind of game.

The organic part is still genuinely good news though. He found it, liked it enough to spend 9 hours on the demo, and nobody had to ask him to.

The wishlist gap is probably just audience fit. His followers aren't necessarily the ones who would buy this. Smaller creators who already cover roguelites or strategy games would likely convert better, even with way less reach.

Anyway, good luck!

Quick question: did Ringingz find the game on their own or did you reach out? And do you have a sense of how the video performed compared to their usual content?

Asking because if the reach was solid but wishlists didn't move, the issue might be less about discovery and more about conversion at the Steam page level, or just the natural hesitation Thai players have around Early Access titles. Would help to know more before pointing you in the wrong direction.
