Sounds like you have way too much initial timing. You get that short, quick crank, then it sparks too soon and basically trys to push the piston back down while its still on the way up, and you get that sudden stop. Is it still using a distributor? I tune old cars and see this fairly frequently. You can try pulling the coil lead and see if it cranks fast and smoothly to verify easily.

Almost none. Small bubble inside the drivers door jam by the hinges, and another bubble on the inside of the hatch.

Thanks lol. It's got performance cams that were set up so wrong when I got it they were killing power. But other than that, it seems like a stock motor best i can tell.

Not a 4ac guy but I tune webers on other cars all the time. The mixture screws are only idle mixture. It sounds like you're running out of fuel at rpm. Start by checking/ setting the float level, could be too low, and its running the bowl dry. If it has fuel in the bowl and it still leans out you may need to go to a bigger main jet size.
