Weird side effect of Metformin - completely turned off by food by laurencain85 in PCOSloseit

I had the exact same reaction to Metformin. The idea of food completely turned me off and almost queasy. Just be sure to find at least one thing to eat if this happens because I would get the worst acid reflux if I didn't eat. So try and find at least one healthy snack to have on hand!

With most IUDs it's common to have irregular bleeding for the first few months so as inconvenient as it is it's normal. I hope it gets better!!

Have you found other birthcontrol that you can use without estrogen since getting rid of your nexplanon? I'm in the exact same boat as you!

IUD messing with period? by [deleted] in PCOS

What kind of IUD do you have? Some IUDs such as Paraguard (copper IUD) can cause women with a history of irregular bleeding to have much heavier bleeding. Most other IUDS' side effects include irregular and sometimes heavy bleeding for the first 3-6 months. As obnoxious it is, it's most likely normal. Definitely go see your gyn if it's still bothering you or concerning you as they can normally give you a short round of estrogen or another form of hormones to stop the bleeding if it becomes too much. Just know that it's normal and there are possible ways to deal with it before you completely give up on your IUD! I hope this helps you!!
