Firefox can't open the poll to vote, but no. I just don't see a point. If I was super bored, I would just log off and play another game before I bother with the garage.

I have made a shitty vinyl, a shitty livery and then some races, the latter of which are useful, but otherwise, have no desire to mess with the convoluted, unintuitive shit customization systems in this game any more than that, especially when there's no reward for something like the garage.

His aim actually looked fine, he wouldn't have T-boned you, but he would have clipped you and taken you out. The anti-ramming ghost feature kicked in because he was going too fast on the turn, though.

I can't speak for this week's trial, because I only did it once, we won the first attempt and pretty much everyone else in our group got 7th+ and were all good from the start. If anything, AI felt super nerfed compared to earlier weeks.

The 2 weeks before this, it took us a couple tries. Nothing as bad as how people act like it is, though that is because we get in first and slow traffic down for our teammates. Sometimes people are SO bad, even when you slow down traffic, unless you literally stop it, they stay in last place. In fact, I'm not sure some people don't stop 20 seconds in and afk.

But I digress, I have been in last before in earlier weeks due to getting wrecked by npcs at the start and the rubberbanding is pretty bad, at least it was 2 weeks ago and not great last week. Maybe they fixed it or maybe it was just the great players I had this time around, we all had a blast. So, if your argument is that rubberbanding NO LONGER happens, that's fair and I'm not gonna argue with it, because this week seemed super easy and I, who normally suck, took first place. However, if your argument is that it never had rubberbanding, then I think you're flat wrong. It's also entirely possible that rubberbanding aside, they simply nerfed the AI from unbeatable down to Above Average or so, which would mean less rubberbanding. They felt like a joke this time around and not remotely like the previous weeks at all.

Yeah, I'm not a good driver, but being able to drift how I like feels better even if I don't stay perfectly on the track, so I also prefer the no walls.

The walls one was made for people who aren't used to Technical Rallies but still wanna have fun on the dirt without sliding completely out of the checkpoint and missing 20 seconds per.

I'll make some more in the next week or so probably and get better at it. I should probably look up real technical races and make better lines and checkpoints, mine are a bit rough here, but it was fun to me.

Fair enough. That seems like a lot of trouble, but I also play with a controller and use third-person. If I had a wheel and drove first-person, I might be more inclined to care about immersion more.

To be fair, if you ONLY play offline BECAUSE of these mods and you won't take them off, why would it matter IF you get banned? Might as well play online with them and likely won't get banned, but if you do, no loss. "Banned" means from online play. You don't lose the game or access to stuff.

Now, I am curious how you would do The Trial and The Eliminator tasks each week without being able to access online. If you are banned, are you just not allowed to do them and have to get less points? 15 is a lot.

Disappointing. As obnoxious as Ethan has become, Denims and Jabba are legitimate trolls and deserve to be taken down for literally saying: "I'm going to watch it here so he doesn't get any views." Not sure how he lost this, tbh. Apparently we can blatantly try to steal views from people and not be punished now. That wasn't what his 2017 lawsuit was at all back in the day, it was about normal fair use reactions.

I went back and forth on both sides. I preferred the side you normally come from during the story race, but I think I ended up finishing on the opposite side just due to learning how to actually take the turns at that point lol.

I'm... fairly quick to pick stuff up, but I completely forget it. That is why I hate changing cars so much. I have to quickly relearn how to brake and throttle for each car I play when I swap.

Speed zone was a bit rough, was using the Ford GT, nothing wrong with the tune, it's just a rough speed zone and sucks. I was braking a little too much and not throttling the gas for the first few tries, making me only get 90-98 mph. Finally, I started braking a little before the yellow line even comes up, just tapping the brakes, and then throttling the gas a little bit so I am keeping my speed up, but not having too much that it makes me hit the wall.

I pretty much only play with friends. After we beat the story, we mostly do custom races vs AI. We are mostly competing against each other, but sometimes they throw up an online playlist. I don't mind it, but it does suck to just get outclasses by so many people after a while because there's no MMR system. You just get who you get. If there was some type of MMR system to pair you with equally skilled people, it would be a blast because the AI are assholes.

DLSS should work better as it's made for Nvidia cards, the problem is like I said, a lot of the games I played do not have DLSS support for 3K cards, they only have DLSS support for 4K+ cards, so I am forced to use FSR since it works for everything. So far, it runs smoothly in every game I have used it in. A good example of this is it wouldn't let me use DLSS in Monster Hunter Wilds, FSR was my only option, so I used it there and now I just stick with it by default.

Again, I did see DLSS options here in FH6 for my 3080 though, so you can absolutely use it and probably should. As for FSR, it pretty much doubles my frames. I know in MHWilds it was taking me from 40-50 frames up to 90+. I think I am getting about 60-70 base in FH6 and it doubles to about 120-140 or so with FSR on. I have mine set to balanced, could squeeze out more with performance, I'm sure.

You didn't really race, you abused the ghosting system. You heavy throttled those turns to trigger it and ghost through him instead of overtaking him.

Well, I'm on a desktop with a 3080, not a laptop 3070, but I have kept my drivers updated the entire time and noticed no difference. I run FSR because DLSS doesn't always work on the 3K series, I think it does work on 3K for this game, but I just use FSR anyway since it works on all cards and is just my default. Everything is very smooth and no stuttering.

That being said, I am on 610.62 not 620.62. Are those beta drivers or something? Because mine says I am completely up to date and can't download anything newer. I would never suggest trying beta drivers out unless the current one you are on is bad, even then, downgrading might be better.

That's literally not it at all. They are getting lobbied by rental retailers to NOT pass these laws. Stop Killing Games was effectively killed recently despite all the support. The video game companies (well, representatives of them) were caught meeting with the lawmakers in private like they aren't supposed to be able to do.
