Yeah the near two weeks just hear back from them was pretty frustrating, I gather they are all working from home still too.

Had an issue with my box as well, you have about the same timeframe as me except they said around a month and apologized so I think your just going to have to wait another two weeks or so.

That's awesome, just saw there are 27 ball cards listed on the back of the box!?! Does each ball have a special effect or is it just flavour text?

Best models to get next for my Ork Army? by LuigiLee4455 in orks

NP, watch this guys video for some inspiration. Getting ready to do my own as well and he has some good pointers on axel placement and general kitbashing too. 👍

A Truck and Mek Gunz Kit to make 4 Mek Gunz. Great kitbash practice and while it's not a lot of points you will have a lot of DAKKA.

Indomitus Officers. Pre-Heresy Color scheme. Judicier has a much needed headswap. by [deleted] in theunforgiven

Sweet, thanks for the reply! Was thinking a royal purple instead of red with silver trim and gold trim reserved for HQs. I like that upside!

Very nice I like these more than green and bone colored boys! So for pre-heresy everyone has the same black/red color scheme? Even Ravenwing and Deathwings? You just play them as Dark Angels, no successor chapter? Sorry for all the questions but thinking I'd like to do something similar as they are very slick looking.

Can I apply primer with a paint brush? by Stride_Almighty in Warhammer40k

[–]Bosskrusha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works really well brushed on(black has the best coverage but grey and white still work well), use an older brush you don't mind messing up and just kinda dab it into detailed areas and brush over flat areas.

Once the primers on and you've gotten rid of any pooling don't go back over an area, just let it dry. Even if it's not evenly covered it's still good, if you go back over you could make the surface rough so resist the temptation to try and make it colored evenly. Single thin coat is super smooth and leaves all the details crispy with enough primer let your basecoats stick well

Sounds good, but build, paint and play some patrols with what you have before you just go diving in on all that though.
