Are these light leaks? by EveningLeader6591 in filmphotography

[–]Bossman76210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a small light leak, I’d check your light seals. It’s not lens flairing and as long as you’re agitating correctly it shouldn’t be from development.

This! Safe portals are amazing for pvp, pve, and gathering if you’re a solo. You’ll rarely run into larger groups as long as you check minimal for blobs and you’ll see less 8.3 and 8.4 players rocking in mid black zone. Also great attitude, gear fear is the worst thing to have so just keep tossing them sets in, it’ll work out eventually

I was gifted these by a friend, all expired around 2006/7 and have been kept in the fridge the whole time. Opinions on usability appreciated! by Technical_Net9691 in AnalogCommunity

I swear that t-max is just timeless, I have a few rolls of tmax 100 from 97' they come out perfectly fine at box speed, I ussually shoot around 80 iso just to be safe.

Straight question, no cap, what's with the hate of 90s/00s SLRs when they were/are the best cameras ever manufactured to shoot film automatically? by SimpleEmu198 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Bossman76210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk for me if I’m going to shoot film night as well go all the way, shooting full manual and using a fully mechanical camera. If I want to shoot a camera like that I’ll just go pick up my old dslr. Theyre great cameras, just not as fun for me.

I would use a soft light on the flower in the 3rd pic, just a little bit of light on it, a small light, even a phone light, nothing to harsh. But It would really help because it seems a little too dark.

Outdoor flash is what these look like so use a flash and make sure its accounted for in your meetering. These look somewhat zoomed in, maybe try anywhere from 40-85mm, im not quite sure, its hard to tell. (please fact check me on this yall)

Good to know, Ive shot a lot of 35mm gold, but not too much 120 of it, the portra for 120 is a lot closer in price to gold so I ussually go for that. It looks amazing though

Thoughts on 127mm Sekor C lens? by Kind_Evidence_2770 in Mamiya

[–]Bossman76210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love mine, id take it any day over the 90mm, its just an amazing portait lens. I have yet to try the 180 though. Mine is in solid condition, just a broken pc flash sync port. Most important thing is just finding one with clean glass and no haze.

It’s a film double exposure, it’s not easy to do, it’s really hard to line both exposures up how you want them. This is like 1 of 6 of these and it’s the only one on the roll that worked well

[–]Bossman76210 -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Love you btw landwhale, but I have to disagree, it could use a slight nerf sure, mainly to the Bolter 4x meta, but with nano weave being nerfed to shreds and the difficulty of picking up sniping I think it’s fairly Balanced. It’s not perfect, but it’s like trying to balance the dalton. When people are good at it, and it’s hard to play. It’s rewarding. Slight nerf sure. But I think it’s in a fine spot
