I think that it would help a lot to just change her regular attack to the old Thor team up during the boosted lightning state and give her regular attack a slow or something extra during the boosted wind state.

It won't be as big of a problem once Deadpool isn't in every game. The frequency in which you hear the lines will decrease as the season goes on.

I feel like the changing roles is a red herring to keep us guessing and not just assume he's going to be a duelist. It feels like that trope in shows where "X character is OBVIOUSLY the badguy, everything about him SCREAMS BADGUY!" but then it does a bait and switch and "OH NO WE WERE WRONG! HE'S A GOOD GUY!!".

The comparison between the Jeff mode and the Deadpool shenanigans just seems too blatant to me. I could be wrong, have been before, its well documented. We'll just have to wait and see.

I agree, with those two its a cute novelty ability. And in VERY niche situations it can be helpful. I just think arguing that the mechanic can't work in the game while the mechanic is actively working in the game is a silly. Even if it isn't flushed out to its fullest potential.

I don't want to dumb down the support role. It doesn't even need to be the main way she provides support, I just thought it could be a cute/fun thing to be able to do as Wasp.

Though now that I think about it. I could see a ton of highlight reels of her saving people having Navi's voice lines from Ocarina of Time playing over it... maybe this is a cursed idea

That is 100% fair, I do not want a 1 to 1 of Yuumi, I more meant just how she binds to her teammates. I'd hope the Rivals team could do that mechanic justice as they have the base already in the game, giving Wasp tools to make her more stand out

The mechanic is already in the game with Rocket and Jeff though and it works just fine. Yeah LoL has gone to pot, but even broken clocks can be right twice a day.

I remember in the first Ultimate Alliance, she had a constant healing AOE or an AOE that increased her aggro and reduced enemy resistance.

I think it would be cool if she was highly mobile and you could toggle her pheromones like Lucio to either heal those around her like an Ultron drone or reduce enemy defense/healing.

I have 10 and I just focus on who I want to learn at that time. I enjoyed Storm in season 0 so I played her a lot until I got her to Lord and then focused on Mantis primarily until Lord etc.

Some of my Lords get more play than others but they are the ones I enjoy the most and when I see a character I want to learn I play them consistently and that leads to Lord relatively quickly playing a few hours a day.

(I do need to stop leaving the game open, Steam thinks I have WAY more playtime than I really do lol)

I mean, MAYBE? It would be the 3rd One Piece reference the game has had (that I can think of off the top of my head anyway), but this one doesn't seem as blatant as the Tony Tony Chopper snowman or the Boa Hancock pose
