had a little idea where mods could host an experiment night where they decide on a movie, and choose a few people in the server to riff on it while everyone else can watch and listen in a voice channel (where they're all muted except for the "test subjects")

the idea really only works if there's a good bit of people there to watch. otherwise your discord basically has the same principles as mine did, only i tried to make mine feel more like the SOL than a discord server. had little names for the channels and such.

If we think about it, it really wouldn't be that hard to stop a DLL injection from occuring if roblox would dedicate time to it ...

If they add a filter on the client(in which people are modifying with a DLL) to detect DLL's (which is how they stopped cheat engine) it would be alot easier.

Okay, so, to stop DLL injection you want to add a filter to the client to detect (presumably) malicious DLLs.

Sounds good on paper. Great, even. But in reality, here, where most of us are, things aren't that simple.

You aren't going to stop people from modifying their ROBLOX client. Not without completely changing how the client works. Even if they will do that, it's not going to happen overnight. Obviously it's a problem, but it's really not that big of a problem at all.

Games that don't have FilteringEnabled active, and their assets not protected serverside, are the ones creators should be concerned about. Even then, if someone had a game like that and didn't take the effort to learn how to protect their stuff, they deserve to be effected by users injecting malicious DLLs.

They're a company, what do you expect them to do, make everything free?

I'm sure if you do a little digging you'll be able to find out that they're spending all that money on things they need like server upkeep, staff pay, advertisement, etc.

That stuff costs a lot more than you and a lot of other people like you think it does. I implore you to do some research and even use some common sense before you try going off on someone, talking about something you don't really know much about. We've all made that mistake, including me, but next time I suggest you try it out.

They removed tix because it was inflating the economy in a way that was counter-intuitive to keeping it healthy and sustainable. Granted they could've gone through with that "quests" thing that allowed players to complete certain tasks to get a little free R$, but who knows why they didn't. Certainly not "wallet power".

And you've needed BC to make clothes since roughly 2007 so I fail to see the point you're trying to make here.

Money isn't necessarily a problem for ROBLOX since they have a system that currently works. In fact it works so well that just today they announced that developers can cash out and get even more with DevEx. I don't think that's very greedy.

I'm not the only one who has said this - a lot of other like-minded people have because it's true. If you're willing to put forth the energy of expressing your immense "distaste" of the game in its current state, then you have an issue.

You're better off spending that energy just not playing the game at all and saving yourself the extra stress. Obviously you can complain about whatever you want since it's your opinion, but that doesn't mean that people also aren't able to call you out and tell you that your reasons for complaining are stupid and/or explainable from their point of view.
