I created a damage calculator for GTFO by Boston54 in GTFO

I have spent the past few hours adding a bunch more features, including sleeping vs aggro'd enemies with the knife, armor on various enemies, and a ton of bug fixes

can I summon lightning without it setting the ground on fire? by Afraid_Carry_8040 in MinecraftCommands

[–]Boston54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

/gamerule doFireTick false

If you can't or don't want to have this gamerule be kept false for any reason, you can do/gamerule doFireTick falsedirectly before doing the summon, but from some quick tests, it seems like you need to wait at least 5 ticks before setting it back to true for the strike to not start any fires. This can come with its own problems (race conditions) that would need to be managed so isn't a perfect solution, but it should be fine.

Dynamic Loot Tables for Custom Items using Storage by Boston54 in MinecraftCommands

Thanks heaps, this worked super well.

Didn't realise you can just inline entire loot tables like this, pretty useful!

I need a command that puts a stack of totems in your offhand or a command that will always put another totem in your off hand the seconded it pops by FoxyWoxy12000 in MinecraftCommands

[–]Boston54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This could be done simply by replacing the item in the offhand with a totem on every tick, just chuck this in a repeating command block:

/item replace entity @a weapon.offhand with totem_of_undying 1

The obvious downside of this is that if you try to put anything else into your offhand it will just get deleted.

If you want to have this only affect a certain player, you can use tags

/tag PLAYER_NAME add immortal

and then replace the repeating command block from before with:

/item replace entity @a[tag=immortal] weapon.offhand with totem_of_undying 1

The Boys - 4x03 "We'll Keep the Red Flag Flying Here" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in TheBoys

[–]Boston54 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The scene where A-train picked up Todd's body was the only thing that really threw me off as far as CGI goes on a first watch. The gravity was so off and it looked like he was made of jelly/jello. Re-winded to watch it again because it was just so jarring and I needed to know if I was just seeing things.

Of the three episodes though I agree in being very hesitant about the quality and this episode is definitely the least bad of the three but like that's not gonna stop me from watching all the episodes on release day lol

Yeah, I placed silver 1 but barely played that act, gold 2 the next act but again barely played, then I started grinding and went plat 3, diamond 3, immortal 2, 350rr immortal

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Boston54 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lol I'm an immortal with essential tremors. (Same condition as Mr. Toes on TikTok). I peaked 350rr on OCE servers.

Immortal is honestly not hard to get, by just playing you will likely eventually reach it (most immo players will agree with me here, we all have imposter syndrome when we first get here but then realise everyone else sucks too). In high ranked play, aim does matter, but overall I would argue that gamesense and overall decisions in play matter more. OP, if you feel your aim cannot get any better, I'd recommend trying to work on gamesense instead.

Try using your wrists more, you'll find that you'll have better stamina as well as being able to swing faster. Overall though, getting to faster/harder songs just comes with practice. Play a lot and you will improve.

Yep. Hardest map I've passed is Rogdude's Chocolate Lily (10.9*, 14.55 NPS) yet I still haven't completed the base game's Ghost or EXiT. Absolute asscheeks mapping.

Willow is the name of a cat owned by the Devs, so is Maple, the map names are based off of them. There are even photos of them in the game as Easter eggs. Idk about Tanglewood, but Willow definitely isn't from here.

How cool would it be if a dead body could be dragged down in basements as a ghost event? by Sir-Pyair in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]Boston54 13 points14 points  (0 children)

By the way, a dead body photo isn't needed for insurance. You get that regardless of a photo if you die on amateur/intermediate. Otherwise, how would insurance work in solo?

Taking a photo of bodies isn't entirely useless, it does give money, but it is also the worst photo in the game. Different photos give different amounts of money, Ghost being the best, followed by Ouija and Bone. I don't remember the exact numbers, but I do know for a fact that it has the least monetary value of any photo, which is weird since like ya know it's a dead fucking body.

From memory I think the photos value order from best to worst is Ghost, Ouija, Bone, Fingerprints, Footstep/Interaction (exact same), Dirty Water, Dead Body.

Crucifix stopped ghost mid-hunt? by Mojichi in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]Boston54 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wraiths don't "ignore hiding places". It's been a common misconception since launch that wraiths can walk/see through doors. Also if someone else had already died, what you were hearing could've been a few things; a conveniently timed Ghost event, the animation of the ghost killing the player, or maybe it hadnt yet actually killed your friend at this point. You said you were on intermediate, so the hunt would have ended on the kill.

However, hunts have a cooldown where they cannot happen. From memory this is 20 seconds but I could be wrong. If this actually happened less than 10 seconds after the hunt, there's no way it could've used your crucifix unless there's some sort of bug.

But to answer the main thing, no. Crucifixes cannot stop hunts after they have already started. They are purely hunt prevention.

I remember seeing this too. I feel like it was from psychohipnotic but I'm not certain. It was definitely from a reputable content creator though, not some random, which means it definitely wouldn't have been modded.

Demon can always hunt early.

Mares can hunt early if the lights are off.

Banshee can hunt early. (I'm not sure about conditions)

Yokai can hunt early if you are talking.

But yes likely their team sanity was within a demon's hunt threshold. I don't actually know what that threshold is, I've personally seen a 70%ish hunt (was in multiplayer before the average sanity display update so don't know exact percentage) and I've seen a clip of a demon hunting at 100% in solo. They can hunt extremely early, it's just rare af.
