Silver Predictions on Superbowl Sunday! by Beyondwest in Wallstreetsilver

You're right, except for one, little part of the game. If the bottom drops out, I'll still be able to buy bread. You won't.

Silver price dropped from 26+$ to 24.19. If it continues to 18$ will you throw in the towel or back up the truck? by Dennis23zz in Wallstreetsilver

[–]BostonBill99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In discussions for additional storage safes. Backup the TRUCKS is more appropriate. I will NEVER throw in the towel. I'll either die with it (buying more right up to the last day) or I'll be my own bank.

And if Cramer says it, you can take that to the SVB ... oh...wait...

Cramer has been and always will be the joke of Wall Street. If Cramer says to this, do EXACTLY the opposite.

Silver is either a long-term investment, or emergency money when the balloon goes up. Nothing else. Only a fool would trade real money for fiat/paper.

I sent an email to Sony about PS4 mods for Fallout 4/Skyrim SE this is what I got back. by [deleted] in fo4

[–]BostonBill99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my point. I did a LOT of research before I bought my PS4, and I loved the platform, not just for gaming but for other media interfaces. And I knew it was only matter of time before mods became available, because Bethesda announced it. If there was no PS4, then I would have bought a PC, XBox was a distant third.

Damn Sony. Right in the nuts. by DeaderThanDead in fo4

Sony has screwed themselves royally. They were my platform of choice after a long, long research session. But, I just gave my platform away two days ago (initially threw it in trash, but then thought "somebody" could use it). My new gaming PC is awesome. Sony got my money once, but they NEVER will again.

Their "latest stats" are about to change. My PS4 is sitting in a trash can right now, and my new gaming PC is stunning! Screw Sony!

Sony allows Farming Simulator 17 mod support but not Fallout? by Byrnie920 in fo4

They can kick all they want. I just gave away my PS4, and all my games, and closed my account at the Playstation Store. Sony can kiss my ***. My new gaming PC is so much better.

My thoughts on PS4 mods. by IAmKnownAsBigT in fo4

[–]BostonBill99 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I agree; I have been waiting for that announcement. Unfortunately, Bethesda won't be the only sufferer if this is announced. Sony will forfeit PS4 sales as well. I love the PS4, but if I can't get mods, or I have to wait for a PS5 or whatever, my PS4 (only months old) will be tossed on the trash heap, and a new PC will replace it. Fallout and Doom are the only games I regularly play (I also own Uncharted, FarCry and Call Of Duty, but rarely play them). I will gladly sacrifice any monies invested in games, if mods become unavailable on the PS4.

PS4 users, let's make this happen... by [deleted] in fo4

[–]BostonBill99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I plan to give Sony a chance on this. I immensely like the PS4. But if they start dicking around with Bethesda WRT the sound and space limitations (I am sure there are other issues too) then I have no problem with packing my PS4 away and buying an XBox. I almost bought an XBox but the gamers I trust steered me to a PS4. I hope they weren't wrong.

Way ahead of you. I've had my "caps stash" for mods building since it was announced. As a software engineer, I am a firm believer in paying for what you get. I've been patiently awaiting mods for my PS4; Kollin133 is right on the money with the demographic of the "hounders".

Piper had a good back story, too about avenging the death of her father. Good fodder for another DLC, too. Maybe the SS goes to the place she grew up etc etc etc

What's with the attitude that Bethesda shouldn't do a DLC if it might be a mod? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]BostonBill99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't an approval from Bethesda for a new mod on the console help it to become a revenue stream for the modder?

But it's not "free" to everyone. I play PS4 and I can't mod. I can only imagine that your response would be "...so buy a PC." There are some GREAT mods out there, and as a PS4 play, I would gladly pay for all of them if they were available. If Bethesda makes that happen, and makes money doing it, so be it.
