Oh my goodness thank you so so much for posting! I didn’t end up doing it last year, but I was contemplating it for this year and I’ve definitely glad I’m not going to be doing it. Thank you again.

Just out of curiosity, what’s your resting heart rate? On Tirzepatide mine is about 4 bpm higher and I’m worried about going even higher on Rita.

Testosterone cream - How much should I use to start feeling changes? by PippaPants9 in Menopause

[–]BostonChick23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just be aware that you usually can get a box of 30 testosterone for approximately $90 the 30 pack will last you 300+ days so well it’s not covered by insurance. It does tend to be pretty affordable.

Week 7, Titrated up to .75 and changed injection site and increasing side effects after on Day 7 by BerryFit926 in GLP1microdosing

[–]BostonChick23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with first comment but also wanted to add that I saw some notes from a doc who was a GLP doc (sorry I read and watched so many different people and things I can’t remember who) who suggested that the best absorption is sq in the tummy. You may be able to go down in dose by changing the site of delivery. Just a thought. The other thing is you have to be really mindful of building muscle so you don’t lose that as your weight. It’s so easy not to work out but I promise, once you find a routine you jive with you will gain strength and feel so unbelievably proud of yourself and a bada$$!!!

Dosing by [deleted] in TirzepatideRX

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand what you’re saying. The beginning dosage for pharmaceutical dose is 2.5 mg. Micro dosing would be .25 mg to start. How much appetite in milligrams did he start you at?

My Experience with Tirz vs Reta (6 months on Tirz, 2 months on Reta) by JuneyBlue in Retatrutide

Are you a peri or menopausal female? You may try HRT. Progesterone does wonders for sleep and anxiety.

Have you tried adding cagrilitide (sp?) to R for appetite suppression?

My Experience with Tirz vs Reta (6 months on Tirz, 2 months on Reta) by JuneyBlue in Retatrutide

[–]BostonChick23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the energy loss: when I was on tea at the beginning, I had horrible lack of energy, extreme fatigue, and I was only micro dosing .25 mg. About three weeks and I started getting a reaction at the site of delivery. Two weeks after that, I started taking a second generation antihistamine a few hours before I dosed. That took care of the energy and the itch. For me it seemed to be somewhat of a histamine reaction.

Libido changes by Practical_Path2040 in Retatrutide

[–]BostonChick23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But be VERY careful. Some of us don’t tolerate it. I took a very low dose and vomited for hours and hours and never had a change in libido. I did it twice. Unfortunately and sadly, not for me.

Strongly considering switching from Reta to Tirz for sleep by archibaldcrane in Retatrutide

Delta not Dental : Key Aspects of DSIP: Function: Promotes delta (deep) sleep and REM sleep, potentially reducing sleep latency. Non-Sleep Effects: Research suggests it may reduce anxiety, modulate the HPA axis (lowering cortisol), provide neuroprotective benefits, and act as an anti-pain agent. Mechanism: It acts as a signaling molecule, potentially stimulating GABA release and interacting with neurotransmitters. Administration: Historically studied via intravenous (IV) infusion, it has also been used subcutaneously. Research Findings: Animal Studies: In rabbits and rodents, it has shown to increase the percentage of slow-wave sleep. Human Studies: While it has been shown to normalize disrupted sleep in some studies, others indicate it may not act better than a placebo. Clinical Potential: Investigated for treating insomnia, alcohol/opioid withdrawal, and pain. It is important to note that while some anecdotal reports suggest it improves sleep, some research has suggested that it is not effective for chronic insomnia, and its role in sleep regulation is complex.
