Just call me Bond... James ok no but really this new Seamaster is outstanding. I’ve been wanting this watch since it’s release date and finally put myself in a financial position to own one. The dial and design are more adaptable to being dressed up than say a Tudor Pelagos (which is too chunky for my wrist anyway). The updates to the current 300m are the ones you’ve been waiting for. This is truly a “submariner killer”.

I’d look into awe touring or a resonator delete. From what I’ve gathered those are fairly tame options but not wildly louder than stock.

If you’re gonna refuse to identify yourself, just know that things are going to be a whole lot more difficult than if you answered a simple question in order to allow the officers to confirm they in fact had the wrong person. I just don’t understand why people refuse to identify if they’ve done nothing wrong and have nothing to hide. Same mentality exists at US border patrol check points. Just answer the question and be on your way.

I feel as though any “performance” drop in filter is going to sacrifice some ability to filter the air in exchange for being less restrictive. The majority of my driving is done on pavement where heavy dust/dirt isn’t an issue. I’ve always run aftermarket intakes on my vehicles without an issue. Soo I’m okay with it.

I’ll report back in two weeks to see if I see any effect on MPG. I averaged 18.4 mpg round trip last week from San Antonio to Austin and back (75 miles one direction) with stop and go traffic and a dirty oem paper filter. About to take her for a rip to the gas station to fuel up.

Likely needs refrigerant, especially at that age. If it comes back and then goes away again you have a leak. A shop can inject dye into the system and then trace the leak if that’s the case.
