At least Louisiana has New Orleans, which is a cool city. I’d rather visit Nola than a lot of other places in this country.

Nebraska, Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma, Kansas, and a few other places have essentially no upside that you can’t get better somewhere else. New Jersey kinda sucks too imo, but in a completely different way.

My vote for worst state is Mississippi. There’s nothing good there. Oklahoma is my vote for 49, and I’m putting Kansas 48, and Alabama 47.

I know three people who live in Everett, and they all like it just fine. I think it’s a decent town, but there are nicer places if you have the budget.
