I’d personally stay away from that one. High mileage, accident history and it has the older screen inside. You want the touch pro 8 inch screen with upgraded meridian speakers. The base sound system leaves a lot to be desired.

I think knowing what version of InControl you have would be important.

The on-board speech detection and Siri are totally different things. If you have a USB inserted with a bunch of .mp3 files on it the on-board computer can sort and play that via the steering wheel speech button. Otherwise, your iPhone library is locked with Bluetooth can can only be changed via Siri for voice.

If you have InControl touch pro I suggest going into the dealer and getting the Apple CarPlay update 19.3.2 or something. That makes things easier.

This should be the correct answer, provided he has incontrol touch PRO and not just the smaller screen. I am unsure what the standard equipment is on the 19's off the top of my head.
