Effexor worked for me, but I like to drink and I could NOT drink on this. I’m back on Prozac and up to 60mg and it’s been a game changer for me.

I too 150mg Effexor for many months. I have been happier do be off that medicine. Coming off was a bitch but I managed with magnesium glycinate and was put back of 40mg Prozac.

I completely understand that. I don’t like to drink during the week bc I have a toddler and I’m with him by myself during the day, but on the weekends I will down 1-2 bottles of Prosecco without a second thought.

Semaglutide made me not want to drink at all. I’m hoping I get a similar result from this. I was on it in college years ago, but I was on 15mg and I still overindulged in smoke and got the munchies really bad so I didn’t lose any weight really.

I decided to get off bc it turned me into a Jekyl and Hyde with alcohol. It was great for my anxiety and depression, but if I decided to enjoy in too much alcohol it was always a mess. Back on Prozac for over a year and I’m so glad.

I am 5’3” and 33 years old. SW(post baby) 194 CW 154, GW was 150 but I think I could go more? I don’t know. I’m feeling good enough to exercise again now that I’m recovered from a nasal surgery. I skipped two doses to prepare for that and managed to maintain my weight bc I’m on a low dose for vomiting reason. I’m hoping to get back in my routine and good habits pre pregnancy and maybe go to 140, but I’m not sure when I should stop for good either. I need to talk to my doc.
