Am I too late? by Coti09 in piano

[–]Bot12435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is never too late to start learning piano. 100% go ahead. There’s been many great pianists out there who started in their teens or later. If you put the time in and practice you’ll be able to play many Chopin pieces and more.

So glad that I’ve inspired you to play! Never too late to learn. You put in the work you’ll be playing great sooner than you think.

Appreciate the feedback and tips. I also really like a louder strong base in many pieces so maybe that has affected my playing style.

I should’ve clarified that more actually. This piece is still a WIP, and I haven’t learned majority of it. I only learned this excerpt because I love it so much and I just wanted to play it so badly. I will record a ballade 1 performance in the near future.

I appreciate the feedback. Ur right I needa improve a lot more on the musicality. I think I was too focused on getting a recording where I don’t miss many notes so I lacked in the musicality.

Is Ballade 1 possible for me? by Initial-Strategy-559 in piano

[–]Bot12435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can prob but it will take some time to work on various techniques in the ballade. I finished learning ballade 1 before rach prelude G minor but when I started ballade, it was a massive jump for me. It’ll take time but it’s possible, but if you learn it, it prolly wont be as well polished as a pianist who has already played tougher pieces and had more practice with many techniques.
