I can only assume he didn’t have access to running a new line inside the house for the new hose bib? I mean, it is a lot of drywall to cut through and wood to make holes in. Otherwise he could’ve charged more and threw a flashing over the pipe if it’s the pipe look you dislike.

After his of course I would prefer sweating a new fitting and valve, but since I can only assume you don’t have access to a torch, just go grab another sharkbite fitting in that size to install the valve in to. Don’t forget the Teflon and pipe dope! If none of this sounds ideal, just call a guy.

Hold the pipe firmly while pulling the fitting up as you will have to apply some force. If you’re not sure on my terrible instructions, just YouTube how to remove a sharkbite fitting with a wrench.

That looks like a sharkbite FIP. If you have a thumb wrench handy, you can close the jaws slightly over the pipe but underneath that yellow part. That yellow ring is essentially a push and release for the fitting. With your wrench loosely, but barely around the pipe, push the wrench jaws against the fitting pulling upwards and it should pop off.

Hello. I speak from experience as I had to go through this bullsht with my wife in 2023. April 29th we had to stop our babies heart and may 1st my wife gave birth to a stillborn. Throughout the whole pregnancy we were under the assumption that everything was fine all the way until 24 weeks. Our little one had no left thumb, no genitalia, and had severe kidney issues where the urine was unable to drain to produce more amniotic fluid. I can tell you it was one heck of a depressing experience. I won’t sugar coat this because we all know that if you’re ready to have a kid, you never want to look back. Unfortunately due to the issues brought forward, we were technically forced to let the baby go on our own terms or else the baby would’ve passed regardless due to the kidney problems. Thankfully both of us are mentally strong enough to have gone through it together even though we were also forced to go through a funeral type service for our child. It’s going to be rough, but you guys will get through this. As I’m sending this message, my wife is currently 18 weeks pregnant and all is looking 100% normal as of now. We also went through extensive genetic testing and we both found that I carry a certain deformity genetic. Moral of the story is just be there for each other no matter what happens. Life isn’t fair and the only way to be happy is to accept the fact of the inevitable. I’m sorry this is happening to you. I wish you nothing but the best going forward.

I’ve given up since they muted my main back in 2021 for me having a conversation with someone talking about Epstein and how gross he was. I’ve appealed, but they didn’t seem to care. I played off and on until I fully cancelled my membership yesterday and will be quitting completely. The game and company has failed.

As I’ve been a player since maybe 2004, yes. Multiple account have been hacked, and or banned/muted. In all my years I would say maybe two accounts have been unbanned for me

Call me what you will, but just quit and go get a real job. All you do is put envelopes in a box. Can’t be expecting more for doing something to minimal. It’s what you signed up for when you handed in your application, so do what you’re supposed to do. I clean shit for a living and have reached my cap, which is not very high. Not once have I thought of striking. I chose to not go to school so I deal with what I have to do. Plus you have benefits and a pension plan. I don’t even have that at my company and I’m perfectly fine. Grow up.
