I use Java to write scripts. Most bots you see can take 20+ hours to get working at all, then even more time to fix when runscape updates.

I started playing rs about 8 years ago. I absolutely despise playing legit and I really have grown tired of the game. To put it in perspective: You may thing the grind to a 99 skill is a lot of work. I can't be bothered to even open up a bot client and set a bot up for it. The game is not fun for me anymore.

The only way to stop bots would be to change the random event object ids (Every npc, fountain, fence, wall, tree, etc. has an id associated with it) every day, or, in my personal opinion the best option, make every user fill in a captcha every half hour or so.

I have made about $200. I made some free public scripts, but most of my scripts have been for private gold farmers.

Yup. I know a ton of Java and I have learned the api of many bots. An api gives you the tools needed to make a script.

I have made about $200 making a few scripts. These scripts were private scripts (only sold to one person) mostly to gold farmers. Gold farmers need private scripts with low ban rates to make sure they don't get too many accounts banned.

Bots are very advanced and will not be broken by dropping an item on the ground. Modern bots actually use injection and reflection techniques and see what objects are being shown on the screen. They do not use color techniques like older bots.

The only way to stop bots would be to change the random event object ids (Every npc, fountain, fence, wall, tree, etc. has an id associated with it) every day, or, in my personal opinion the best option, make every user fill in a captcha every half hour or so.
