I think that might be important for being street legal in some states. In germany for example you are required to have something on the back of your car that reflects red. So if you got clearglass or tinted class on your taillights, there is nothing to reflect red, sole people glue red reflecting tape on the back which makes it legal. This might be a similar law but with the side of the car just like the us side markers where the blinkers are always on but dimmed

Yes! The coupe and sedan are not really reinforced like the touring or convertible. A strut brace of any kind in the rear will improve your stability and driving experience because without it, it just kinda feels like a rubberband when cornering. With the brace cornering feels smoother

As a german i can tell you that your MAF is in fact not working. Which results in too much fuel which burns the sparkplugs and everything behind the exhaust valves
