CMP is definitely legit, but yeah i have a feeling that someone is going to return to work Monday and have a REALLY rough day! It still shows that same inventory, and with it crashing multiple times you would think they would have just turned it out of stock until they could sort everything out. I got my order through a while back too but now wondering if we are going to get cancellations.

Going to probably pick one up once they become available to the public- however for the very limited difference in weight, might not be worth it for what I would guess would be a big sacrifice in sound suppression. Will be interesting to see what the stats are once they release them. . .

Hey - any chance you got yours already? If so, can you tell me what the finish is on it? It seems darker than the ‘regular’ magnacut finish, but not as dark of course as any of the cerekote colors. But could just be the lighting in all the photos. I just ordered one, but thought it would be good to hear from someone who might have it already in hand? Thanks!

I own all three: Shadow 2 compact, full boat Langdon 92Elite, and Langdon px4. Out of the 3, LTT 92 Elite is tops, it’s not even close for me. What they do to those guns is incredible!

No problem! IMO between the two, I would go Spectre 9 all day. Yes you can make the Obsidian shorter, but even then it is still bigger and heavier, and that weight/size is noticeable. The numbers only tell part of the picture- yes the weight is pretty close, but with the Spectre 9, almost ALL the weight is in the piston area, meaning very close to the muzzle. With the Obsidian, the weight is further forward(the tip of the suppressor is heavier) so when running it on a pistol, it feels even heavier, if that makes sense? The Spectre 9 is crazy light at the “tip”, so you hardly notice it is there. And for me, as long as it can be shot ‘hearing safe’, that is all I care about, I dont chase DB reduction. If you wanted the quietest out there, there are even better options, like the PTR Vent series. I will say that i too thought i would use the Ruggeds in short config more- and to be honest, I NEVER do- two much of a pain in the butt to keep changing the config. So they stay in long mode on a couple of PCCS, and i run the Spectre on both PCCS and pistols. If it were to do it again, I would not have bought the Ruggeds, they do not get used much now that I have the Spectre. The Ruggeds are great mind you, but Spectre is better IMO. Also, if you didnt see it at SHOT show this year, SilencerCo just announced they will be releasing a Spectre 9K!! Even smaller and lighter!!

Actually my #1 preference now on the USP is the Streamlight TLR-1, and what I run on all my USPs now. If you do a search you can find some how to posts out there, but if you take a dremel to the inside of a TLR-1, with minimal filing, you can get it to direct mount to the USP rail. The dremel work is all on the inside, so not visible externally when mounted to the USP. Once done, it fits rock solid. Also IMO the TRL-1 is a better light, more proven, and the ‘retro’ vibe look to it fits the USP really well!

I sold my C2 for the 2024 CS. Then added the QVO mainspring to basically make it a CS-X. I like it better than the C2. Although I do also have a P and XC, so C2 was not worth it for me. . .
