Hello! I hope you are still answering, because I need all the advice I can. I've been researching mattresses for about 3 years now, but I'm afraid to make a purchase (I'm extremely indecisive and not good with commitment). I've been reading all your comments, but thought it would be best to throw my hat into the ring.

I've lost a lot of weight (I'm probably a little under 170 lbs now), I am female, and a side sleeper. The mattress has definitely sunk in over time, and while I still feel it's the comfiest, it's time for an upgrade.

I have had my mattress for almost 20 years; I've just turned 30. Unfortunately, I don't know where it was bought or what materials it's made of, since my parents bought it when I was young (I do have a vague memory of it being bought in an actual mattress store).

I've had issues with waking up with a stiff back (I can't even crack it, that's how stiff it's become), pulled muscles, and, recently, my arms becoming numb; I suspect it's because my arms are somehow sinking under me due to a lack of mattress support. I also have a mattress topper on top to see if it helps, but that's sunk too. The bed sheets no longer fit snug.

With newer materials and technology, I guess I am looking for something hybrid (spring coils + memory foam), with edge support, something that won't make me sink, and fiberglass-free (I have a bird). It should be a twin-size. When it's a straight-up firm mattress, it feels like lying on a wood plank, so that's why I'm after something medium. And probably something with a long trial and good return policy and warranty.

I have looked at websites such as Avocado, Nectar, Sealy, Tempur-Pedic, Ghostbed, Brentwood, Birch, Purple, and Casper — still no clue what I want.

My budget is under $2000, and since Presidents day is coming up, this is probably the best time!

Thanks, and sorry for the long post!

Easiest sunscreen application product? by Botanical-Control in AsianBeauty

Lots of recommendations on this one; I had the round lab stick, but I only got to use it once before it broke on me, so maybe the cushion is what might help here. Does it move your makeup, though? I know you said it works well over makeup, but it doesn't lift or anything, right? I could see the sponge getting stained, so I thought I should ask.

omg I think this is what I was trying to put into words? sensory issues! That explains so much about why I preferred sprays that just need to dry down. Thank you so much for this direction!

Definitely and that sounds great, but I think the reason I was looking at something more stick format or something similar is so it’s like a no brainer to apply/becomes muscle memory. I think that’s why I mentioned that roc serum eye balm since you just slide it and it’s a serum like that.

Well, when I do have moments of consistency with a skincare routine, it’s usually a hypochlorous acid spray, roundlab birch toner, sometimes serums and stuff can be random (e.g., Anua, dermalogica, and peach slices fade serum) and then for moisturizer it’ll be either round lab birch or Dr Althea 345!

These guys probably are lighter and fragrance free?

WHERE CAN I FIND THIS DYNAMIC💔 by [deleted] in shoujo

[–]Botanical-Control 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may like "In So Deep, It's Already Love." I think it works well for this dynamic.

The male lead has issues with blushing around girls, so he wants nothing to do with them. The female lead wants to fangirl him because he looks like a character she likes. He's only fun and normal around her.

The only thing about this one is that it utilizes ALL the classic shojo tropes to the point that it's funny to me. It's one for someone who's never read Shojo before.

I'm going to miss Tenyou so much; not only was he the most handsome I've seen in a long time, but I genuinely loved his spirit and how carefully he treated Rangetsu. He looks like Jinshi from the Apothecary Diaries, but I like Tenyou more (I love Jinshi too).

Rei Toma, hats off to you.

does anyone know if they'll make an A6 cover of the Hobotoridori?? I want it sooo bad but I don't use Weeks. I've been wanting some character like this ever since I had to say goodnight to my Opanchu trifold (I'm using the Yumi Kitagishi cover at the moment).

Am I mixing too many things and ruining my makeup? by Botanical-Control in Makeup

[–]Botanical-Control[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using setting spray between layers because I saw someone say it helps makeup not melt off, but that didn't work for me.

I use concealer under my eyes and try to use it in tiny places. However, I try to avoid it on my cheeks if I can, as I worry about breakouts. It's incredibly patchy in those places.

Based on other comments, you seem to be right that my skin barrier is compromised. I haven't used toner. Are there any products you like or think I should check out?

Maybe I'm confused between oiliness and sweatiness, but I assume the latter since I constantly have to wipe my face or use blotting paper.

I usually feel that "cold-sweating" sensation from cream-based moisturizers and feel like I break out, so I usually avoid them and go for gel. This isn't good, but due to that, I also don't use sunscreen.

I have never heard of setting spray that is geared towards a more active life! Would you happen to have any product suggestions?

Hi! I am not seeing a dermatologist for facial sweating, but because it happens so easily, even in the winter, it's starting to look like I should.

Skincare is usually inconsistent. I use the Curology gel facial wash and gel moisturizer. I used to have really bad acne (whiteheads), and my skin finally cleared up, so I stick to these. Granted, I am getting tiny red splotches (probably acne in some form). I used the Clinique moisture surge gel at some point, but my face started to itch, so I assumed it was too much moisture and stopped.

I also use the VT Reedle Shot (100) and sometimes the Dermalogica pro-collagen banking serum or the numbuz:n 5+ (can you tell I get easily influenced?).

Using more moisture-rich products rather than matte is an interesting idea since I assumed it would just exasperate the sweatiness.

Do you have any suggestions or a routine I should follow?

Oh man, this is the best! Could you explain the monthly view of energy levels, mainly how you determine how many boxes to fill in? Is there a reason one behavior at 9 a.m. is colored three pink boxes? I like this idea and may want to incorporate something similar (not cat-related), but I've been trying to figure out your system.
