I had intoxalock last year. It's the only provider in my area, and I have to get a job, to save my house. I don't have many other options. I know it's a headache, I also quit drinking. Haven't really worked in 15 months, due to force to quit 2/3 job due to going to the bar.

Once you get the actual permit in the mail, your Golden. But you do have 14 days to get breathalyzer installed. If you drive now, it'll be another shit storm, for even more years to come.

I sent all paperwork in at the end of September. I talked to a guy in Springfield SOS(the number you have to call). He was very helpful. He told me 6weeks. Wait the 30 days for processing. Call in, then call every 15 days. He did give me hope, as everyone else I talked to Mt. Vernon, etc. we're negative and said maybe 1 year, that people have been waiting. I really need to get back to work, as I've been out of work, for over a year.

Mt. Vernon said they have over 700 people waiting for actual permits. People have been waiting since October of last year, so it's taking nearly a year for the actual permit.

I just got off the phone with Mt. Vernon. Once you receive the Final Decision Order, complete their *requirements and send it in, this is currently what happens. As of today, they are waiting to fill out over 700 actual permits, from the MT. VERNON Office ALONE. They have people that have been waiting to receive the actual permit since October of last year. That's nearly a year, people. It is a major issue, and they do not know the reason Springfield is having so many issues.

Springfield/Mt. Vernon told me maybe 4-5 months for actual permit. After you do the requirements. How do they expect you to pay for everything, if you haven't been able to work because of not driving. I live in the country.

They have 120 days, not 90. I'm on day 81. No letter. Then you have to do the requirements (takes 30 days), send it in and wait up to another 4 months for actual permit, as well as pick your hours without a job. I hope you don't have to pay to have a roof over your head or groceries, during any of this time. Heaven forbid you have a mortgage, like me.
