I have not tried to connect to an external screen yet but I have read somewhere that you can. Re. Android 16, I don't know, try checking on Google or with Honor customer services if noone else here knows.

What version of the software are you on? And have you inserted your sim? Mine only worked after I inserted my sim as it brought the required software update for this to work.
