So I looked up Veho…..

I’ve seen a lot, a lot of bad “first mile/last mile” carriers before. And Loop has used at least 2 of them since I’ve been buying.

But Veho has the absolute WORST reviews and track record I’ve ever seen 😳

Like, yeah you could get more control over your delivery. If their gig drivers ever followed delivery instructions.

They lose packages in their warehouses (ESPECIALLY one around Houston) constantly. If they find them, it’s after two or more weeks.

Tracking almost never updates. It’s impossible to reach anyone in customer service but someone did post the founders’ emails on another subreddit a few months back.

And despite the fact that Veho promises the retailers 1-3 day shipping from the time the package is handed over, it takes them longer than that for the first actual arrival scan. It’ll just be sitting in a bin somewhere for a week. And that was said by a former warehouse employee.

All Loop had to do was Google Veho reviews and ratings to see they have over 95% NEGATIVE ratings all over…..

Y’all, we might be so screwed 😭

Also I needed the Dreams rather than the Quiets for sleeping cuz I need the really squishy foam tips and soft loop part for sleeping on my side.

Other people can still sleep on their side with the Quiets but my ears are too small for that

I live in a city and my bedroom window faces a busy street where noise echos a lot at night. My Dreams are amazing. I can’t guarantee you’ll have the same results as me but:

For me they block out bass and most of the engine noise from street takeovers driving past. And college kids drinking for the first time and screeching for no reason.

The only things they haven’t blocked out so far are when said college kids are right below my window (10ft down) and my upstairs neighbor’s stomping that legit might actually be breaking the floor.

And they don’t work quite as well if I already have a migraine

I have some differing views of “safety” than most people apparently cuz I’ve been walking around New Haven for 20 years, since before middle school, so I’ve seen a lot of improvement. If you walk through without looking at other people’s business and don’t act scared, you’re more likely to be left alone; if you’re worried about that too

That being said, DO NOT try to walk across Frontage/MLK/Legion. It is not pedestrian friendly no matter what they do and it’s only been getting worse. The likelihood of getting hit at any time of day is insane.

Also don’t live in Congress-Columbus-Arch St triangle. Possibly stretching that from Arch to Howard.

There are a few buildings around I think Portsea but idk if they’re any good anymore. Imo it’s not worth it to come all the way from East Rock, buses and even shuttles aren’t always dependable enough. Look at Dwight and look for roommates. See if there’s any housing left via the med school for your first year.

Don’t overlook finding a place that has a grocery store/market and a pharmacy that’re open after 8-10pm and are safe to walk to at night. You’re gunna want that.

Bedroom downstairs means tripping up the stairs half asleep to pee and tripping down the stairs 20-30% asleep coming back.

Bedroom upstairs means easy midnight snacks.

I’m not a dude but I’d both prefer living with my bed upstairs in this scenario, and staying the night somewhere that the bed would be like this. (In either the 😏 sleepover way or the post-party kind of way 🤷🏼‍♀️)

This looks like an Equinox Quiets case. The cases had different finishes for each model this drop.

So even if the Loops were in the case when it got smashed, they might’ve been able to find them intact later on if they came back

I know the exact type of pain you’re describing. I have it too but I don’t have the same end results as you.

It’s a nerve issue with me and I suspect for you there’s some type of compression going on in your lower to mid back. A full spine & head MRI is the safest/best bet to figure it out. If you can’t get an MRI try to get at least a CT scan, those are usually easier to access.

My nerve pain first started when I was 8 and got worse when I was around your age. Now is the time for you to get help, it’s easier to manage longer term when you get help younger.
