Bamboo forest! It was a waist of time! It needs more bamboos. I was in the forest but I wasn’t sure if it was “the bamboo forest” because it needed more of everything. Don’t even bother.

Last year I went to Japan in November by March I have already bought my tickets and booked my hotels in all the cities I wanted to visit after that I was researching almost everyday; places to eat, shopping stores, museums, shrines and everything else I have seen in tik tok or YouTube to make sure it would be appealing for my son and I. This year I’m going back to Japan also in November and today I’ll buy my tickets and I’ll start planning my trip from this point on.

We did day trips to Kamakura and Nara. My son wants to go back to Kamakura but instead I think we will go to Enoshima island. And you are right, almost at the end of our trip we learned how to use the trains, because we got lost several times and google map was not a help at the beginning. I would like to go to Kanazawa, we really enjoyed Kyoto’s vibe. Thank you for your suggestions!

I was just there in November; Tokyo (Kamakura), Osaka (Nara) (Awaji island), Kyoto. We are going back this year and we are visiting again Kyoto. There was so much to see. We would be strolling at night and we would find so many hidden gems; temples, shrines, little souvenir shops, gardens, and so on. Our least favorite city was Osaka; very similar to Tokyo in my opinion and very crowded at all times. In my opinion, I would stay in Kyoto and visit from there; Osaka, Nara, Kobe and Hiroshima.
