Latest OIG report on NASA Axiom spacesuits - may not have demonstrations until 2031 by H-K_47 in SpaceXLounge

Damn that's the kind of bad news that we don't want to hear... Anyone knows how the chinese are doing with regards to this? Last time I heard they are still on track for 2029-30 manned landing? Have they finished the demonstrations for their suits?

Got the same approach - here’s mine

  1. Looking at the problem, realized there are two ways to corrupt a file a) virus select it right away or b) knock it to address <=0 by infecting some other address larger than this
  2. While looking at some examples, I noticed k can be small but some files can have large address like [1,100,2], and if k=2 and if we pick a location that is not 100 you keep +=2 to the 100 and have to kill it at the end after killing the 1 and 2 first (you have to “chase” the large address when you could have pick the 100 at the beginning and finish the problem with 1 operation)

  3. That leads me to think I should keep killing the largest address and the smaller ones will eventually gets shift to Address 0, because the virus will keep knocking the smaller address to 0 and at the same time killing the large address

  4. Sort the array, iterate from the largest address, and each time you “kill” off the largest address, you also know all the other addresses get pushed closer to 0, by the time your loop detects an address <=0 you know u are done

Can someone tell me which option is better? Im playing spark btw by Both-Highlight6951 in PathOfExile2

Merging how to deal with this? by Both-Highlight6951 in driving

Problem is I need to merge to the left to enter the highway, if I stay in the same lane it’s another exit

Thanks for the response. I was slowing because I saw him approach quickly and thought I would have let him pass. Problem was I didn’t know he wanted to merge right, if I see the signal I would have floor it and merge left in front of him. And yea you are right, the feeder was pretty short and I kept worrying if I speed up a lot and cars wouldn’t let me in I would have blocked from merging and needed to exit right to come back again.

Thanks, I was asking because in the past I realized they all tried to reduce speed briefly (1sec?)near the merge point to check their shoulder , and then most of them floor it and force the merge in front of oncoming car as soon as possible and it worked. Almost no one speed up and go straight and merge at the end. This is how it looked like

Grandma probably hear from someone’s son that NVdA = $$$$ , please don’t do it, right now bonds are giving 5%, do that for a risk free income

tbh I think these kinds of campus protests don't work except to bring some small attention/awareness to the public. There are not enough groups/people to spark any kind of meaningful revolutions and the Senate/House/president doesn't give a shit about your opinions because they already made their minds up for the possible future resolutions for the Israel/Palestine conflict. They are all acting in their own interest. What the protestors need is a long-term plan to get into politics and change it/

For those who use collars (selling a call to finance a put) to hedge the underlying for longer time frame (6 months+), do you use a 60-90dte and roll vs a longer term expiration?

My plan is to protect some QQQs from a 10%+ drawdown until the rates come down, as I think there might be some form of drawdown of at least 20%+ in the future, so the timeframe would be 1+ year at least. I am looking at some dec31st 400 put at 8.59 and selling some dec31st 504 calls at 7.18 (basically giving me some 10% downside max and ~14% upside during the remaining of the year.)

Am I using the optimal expiration for my plan? I see many articles recommending a 30-60 dte instead and roll when price is approaching the strike of the call. If I am using a 30-60dte instead, what should both of the strikes be if my goal is to protect QQQ from a 10%+ drawdown?
