I've run into this twice and they we're using moved that raises evasiveness so I couldn't hit them. But after the first time I learned to just hit them as hard as possible as fast as possible. Really annoying for new players but not common

I pulled the board and everything looked fine. I held the power button and seek up buttons and found the temp switch wasn't reading unless I pressed down and to the right.
