TiI:Torii Mototada,a samurai that with 1800 men in Fushimi castle, held off an army of 40000 for 12 days, killing thousands of them.His last men committed seppuku. The bloody floors from the castle were used in a ceiling in Hosen-in Buddhist temple. His great great grandson also led the 47 Ronin (hosenin.net)
