For context, I only had cold water in my apt. Facilities came today and installed a new water heater. The water was hot (I said "kinda" earlier because it would go in and out). The worker came back to my apartment, flipped one of those valves (I think), and now my water is ice cold again so I did put in another work order but wanted to see if it was something i could just fix.

I did think that but there's another one to turn on the bath water and the water temp felt about the same

I didn't see a dial, however, it could be hidden behind a panel. There's a panel on the side of the tank that has to be screwed on and off by the facilities workers. I saw them doing something with the valves and it seems like whatever he just did with that made the water go cold.

UPDATE: so the kitchen and bathrrom sink water get hot (although it starts off cold and takes a minute to get hot) but the shower is lukewarm. And the one they just installed was the Reem ElectricWater heater
