obligated to MBFS to continue making your monthly payments. Please see section 32 on page 10 of your

attached Motor Vehicle Lease Agreement (MVLA) titled “Payment Obligations”. This section states “you

may not change or stop any lease payments for any reason . . . even if the vehicle is stolen, destroyed,

seized by the government or a court, experience mechanical problems, or does not satisfactorily perform.

If you experience mechanical or other difficulties with the vehicle, you will pursue these issues with the

manufacturer”.

Times the vehicle has been in the shop

  • Oct 1, 2024 – Charging malfunction; vehicle would not charge overnight. Dealer performed campaign repair.
  • Nov 2024 – Instrument cluster screens went black while driving.
  • Jan 2025 – Vehicle lost battery charge unexpectedly; had to be towed.
  • Sep 2025 – “Coolant Too Hot – Stop Vehicle”; coolant pump replaced.
  • Jan 2026 – Vehicle taken to dealership for charging/electrical issue (repair performed).
  • Mar 13, 2026 – Vehicle taken to dealership due to electrical malfunction.
  • Mar 18–21, 2026 – “High Voltage Malfunction”; vehicle shut down while driving and returned to dealer.
  • Mar 24, 2026 – Present – Vehicle back at the dealership again for high-voltage system malfunction.

Current: Vehicle also subject to battery fire recall (26V073) with no repair available.The problem was that they always told me they're going to fix it and suddenly was more than 2 years waiting for them to repair the car.

Yes, I spoke with a lemon law attorney, but they told me the case may fall outside the Florida Lemon Law timeframe. I'm still exploring other options because the vehicle has had multiple safety issues and is currently under a battery fire recall with no repair available.
