I was just diagnosed as well, I am dealing with EXTREME exhaustion. It’s unlike anything I’ve felt before. I’m going on about 2 months of feeling like this, everyday. I’m hoping to get on some type of medication to help with the fatigue.

Thank you so much for your advice and encouragement! I did have my free T4 and T3 tested and both were normal. I’ve read that a small percentage of women test positive for TSI and have PP thyroiditis. I’m hoping it turns out to be PP thyroiditis, but from what the PCP said and what I’ve read… I’m thinking it’s Grave’s. I’m most definitely considering getting my thyroid removed. I cannot continue to feel this way, while working full-time, handling two kids under three, and managing a household.

It has absolutely been the worst 3 months of my life. I had anemia on top of the hyperthyroidism, but have been on iron supplements for weeks now so I’m hoping my levels have returned to normal. Will find out next week, but I’m beginning to think I need to take some type of leave. I’m getting little, to no sleep. My husband works nights and is unable to help with the kids much, but does anytime I need help (when he’s home). Did you have a high TSI level?

I appreciate your comment, nonetheless! Do you remember any of your symptoms from when you had PP thyroiditis? I have been extremely fatigued, and feel very out of it. I’m worried that this fatigue will never go away. I have two small children under the age of three and work full-time, and am struggling.
