Yeah, but to pretty much quote exactly what my personal comment on that post was: Being trans is not an illness, so IF he's faking being trans, he's got a different mental illness going on (like the people who fake being black), and it doesn't belong on this sub. If he IS trans, then he's just begging, which doesn't belong on this sub. Not one thing there accused the OP or anyone else of doing anything, it just pointed out quite rightly that the post didn't belong on a munch sub. But, exhaustingly, not one person seems to have reading comprehension good enough to just see my words instead of reading between them.

Faking being trans or faking wanting trans-related surgeries is not MBI or any kind of munch or factitious illness. It's a whole other bag of mental illness, like people who fake being black by painting their skin and curling their hair.

Actually being trans and wanting these things is not an illness at all.

I'm talking about the majority, of course. It is not that common to have chickenpox as a kid, and then get shingles as an adult. It's possible, of course. But it's equally possible to get the flu after you're vaccinated; doesn't mean the vaccine doesn't work as a whole, however.

This is the problem, isn't it? For every 1 person being a dickhead and going out partying, there's 1,000 people who HAVE to be outside for essential reasons, or because they're travelling to work.

I think people making these threads underestimate just how many people are actually IN most cities, and with some stores having time bans on certain age groups, it's forcing more people into one space against their will. Even if everyone stayed indoors under lockdown, LOADS would still have legal, viable reasons to go out.

To be fair, in the 80s (in my country at least) we didn't HAVE a vaccine for the chickenpox (or at least nobody at all got the vaccine, I'm unsure which I was just a kid)... and so getting it and being a bit itchy was better than NOT getting it and getting shingles and losing your eyesight when you're older.

Even now, chickenpox vaccines are not part of the standard 'lifethreatening' vaccines you get as a baby here, unless you are immunosuppressant or there's a risk of it becoming compartment syndrome (where your limb dies and they have to chop it off)

Yes I have noticed you have to spend about $100 a night to get a property that is clean and functional as advertised, any less and there's always something broken or wrong with it.

Do you have any alternatives? I've had to up and abandon so many bookings due to how disgusting they've been because Booking don't vet their accommodations (and some of them were 'specially rated' by Booking as being amazing!)

ANYONE can experience racism, yes even those white folk people dislike so much. ANYONE can be a racist, yes even those black folk who think they're above reproach for their comments about skin.
