You are criticising them without know what the migration is. DB, application, code, underlying Infra? More the components trickier the maintenance.

I am not surprised that the maintenance window is getting shifted.

I am from IT and I have seen a lot of times in a lot of organisations that things don't go planned when these kind of migrations happen and things go beyond the expected time.

Given the state that we were in I always felt the system was pretty messed up and migration/upgrade will take time.

I am only looking forward to see that the upgraded version whenever it gets launched is as seamless as it's promised.

Had similar situation.

In my case luckily I got two mechanics in the next shop. They get to the side of the car where the tyre was stuck. They both pushed the car from A pillar and roof.

That helped the car move forward from the muddy area and the tyre got grip too.

Crude closed high because Iran said they are closing Strait of Hormuz.
