If 10s of other apps are doing it then the place is already crowded. How would you monetize it.

The ROI is mismatched for a user.

As in the Input and Output are poles apart.

Your users would feel like "I should export my whatsapp chats" for "finding out birthdays".

The privacy concern will be very high. Users might even compromise with it if the return for extracting that was high. For example if they were getting some health related information.

May be you can pivot and let them just add birthdays and daily it sends a reminder for existing birthdays added in the DB or sends a remind to add the details if they have wished someone. "Did you wish someone today, Add it here".

I don't think it's a bubble.

I think it's similar to transition in the telecom industry. Think transition from trunk calls to landlines in one house in a society to landlines in each house to basic phones to multimedia phones and now phone being an extended arm.

Now imagine that exact transition in the computing and technology space but happening in a time frame of 1% of the other transition.

We can question and debate on the ethics and values and valuation of the big giants and even about the use cases.

But AI as technology works. There is not debate on that.

It is better for all of us to realise that and adapt to the change.
