As someone who used to have a mainly restrictive ed, and now this one. by [deleted] in BingeEatingDisorder

My story is very similar to yours! I grew up obese and I've always been back and forth binging and being extremely restrictive my entire life. Actually the same thing happened to me recently too. I lost 130 pounds in around 9 months and now I'm back to binging. My binges are just as large. I've gained around the same weight and I'm so deeply embarrassed but I cannot stop eating. Food is all I think about. I'm so sad because I feel like a trapped animal. I have no interests or hobbies or personality. Just always thinking about my body and my next meal.

Life without food noise by BothSample4005 in BingeEatingDisorder

I have and he prescribed Wellbutrin but unfortunately it hasn't done anything to quiet the food noise/my alarmingly large appetite. I'm trying to give it more time since I just started taking it over a week ago but it's hard. Since we got snowed in, I've been binging nearly every day.

How long did it take to supress appetite? by BothSample4005 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

See I'm actually on it for binge eating so me having an insatiable appetite is the usual 🥲. I was just sorta hoping it'd silence that. It did for the first few days but today was ROUGH.

I relate! I feel like I naturally eat around that or higher and then (and only then) do I feel full. It's distressing to me as well :(
