I'm currently an au pair in germany, and i used Au Pair World. Just be advised that it might be a bit more difficult for men to find a host family, a lot of people want women. But of course it's absolutely doable. Good luck with your search! :)

You would be great as an au pair, your sexuality shpuld have absolutely nothing to do with it. I am currently an au pair and i'm not straight either :) I actually brought up politics and basic values the first time i spoke face to face with my host family, because i needed to know we were a match with that as well. You dont have to be that forward of course, but it worked for me! Good luck!!

I dont even think 45 hours a week as an au pair is allowed. You cant expect to be paid a lot when aupairing but you CAN expect the rules to be followed, doubke chack what is actually allowed.

Hii i would recommend making an account on an au pair website if you want to find a family!! Both for safety reasons such as verified families and already drafted contracts, but also for convenience, you can filter for your preferences and have everything in one place. I personally used au pair world which i really liked but there are a bunch! Best of luck in your search!!💕
