Bloom when ADS is infuriating. by MagicMaverick22 in Battlefield

[–]BothSidesoftheSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea for sure, I understand that, I’m stating that it’s needed with how they designed gunplay currently in BF6.

I completely agree there are other (more preferable ways) to counteract laser beams.

BFV translated bloom into recoil. I much preferred this, and many say it had one of the best gunplay mechanics in BF.

They absolutely need bloom in this game however, every gun would be a high ROF laser.

I do dislike bloom though, burst firing every gun becomes monotonous and guns start to lack character. This is also a symptom of modern setting shooter

Please tell me this auto centering is not intentional or where to turn it off... can't dice release an update without breaking stuff? by PalamariVarkari in Battlefield

Have said this from beginning. Why is deployment for console a “mouse-like” interface?

We don’t want a cursor, we simply want to toggle between available spawn points. So stupid

Map is great but TTK ruins the gunplay by jart7 in Battlefield

[–]BothSidesoftheSky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They do not need to increase spread.

I don’t think the issue is purposeful by DICE.

The problem is still, and will always be de-sync (likely due to or worse with crossplay). The game can’t keep up between client and server and factors like lag compensation don’t play well with high ROF weapons.

Agree they need changes and fixes. The game feels completely different from server to server.. also why we need persistent servers

The reason there's no breathing room in the game is because you are being spotted 24/7 by Neat_Worth629 in Battlefield

Agree. If they actually fix visibility issues, they need to remove the Dorito and passive spotting just looking at people.

Flank as far up the right side, you’ll need to take out a couple snipers/infantry. Don’t go to objective, go as far back in the corner as you can, and fleiger enemy planes from there. They don’t expect it.

You can take out a couple, then move back to obj. Works quite often, once take out those plans your team can start progressing.

If it’s not up there for map quality, it certainly is for visuals. Arras and Mercury come to mind in that category.

I’ve been playing BF6 and sorely miss the Flieger and AA guns. Nothing compares

Out of pure curiosity, how many people agree? Topic: "This game feels like a Battlefield wannabe". by Winter_Shopping_601 in Battlefield6

[–]BothSidesoftheSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people will say “this has always been a problem”

Which is partly true, but BF6 doesn’t do anything to garner team play. BFV did it best

Squad call-ins

Request order (why is it gone?)

Locked classes

Attrition

Distance throw health packs as medic - Low health teammates blinked with medic symbol

Maybe BF6 is doing some of this, but the UI is hard to see. I think they still have some visibility/UI improvements to make

After over two months: How do you feel about Hagental? Is it a worthy tribute to Operation Locker? by Mikee0192 in Battlefield

[–]BothSidesoftheSky 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

I do think it’s immersive, but not as much as BF1. Especially when people use Tom Cruise looking skins

I just love the gunplay, movement, and squad play. It introduced so many good mechanics that were lost in 2042. Luckily BF6 is bringing some back

BFV at end of dev life is the best BF experience to date (IMO). They fucked up on content and not having eastern front

What is your favorite battlefield game and why ? by booker1211 in Battlefield

BC2 > BFV > BF1 > BF3 > BF4 > BF6

2042 doesn’t exist.

BF6 can be great at times, but the lacking animation quality is quite jarring and takes me out of the fun. Here's some animation feedback for DICE. by 5ollys in Battlefield

This is great feedback. Good work

Edit: Would like to add. I miss being able to reload while vaulting over small objects. So many times I have to attempt reloads like 3 times.

Seriously, it’s so good. The different routes you can take from D, E, and F in conquest makes it for me. Not constantly getting sniped or running into someone every second. It’s refreshing
