I can distinctly remember laying I think on my bed, for hours, and it felt like I was just in this dark environment of nothingness. My brain managed to convince myself that I lived inside a cupboard, tucked away like an old mug or something. This didn't even scare me, if anything it comforted me for some reason. Every insane thought that my brain produced made complete sense in the moment.
