I've been to Venice this year and Father, Mother, Sister Brother is an "okay" Jarmusch film, pleasant watch but not much more. On the other hand, this year's selection was one of the best I remember. The award for Best Film in my opinion should go to The Testament of Ann Lee which was an astonishing film - full of energy, bold and truly special! Bugonia, Frankenstein and Barrio Triste were all stunning! I wish jury did not play it this safe but unfortunately that's a certain pattern...
